We are looking for a meticulous Payroll Specialist to join our team in Greensboro, North Carolina. In this long-term contract position, you will manage payroll processes for a diverse workforce, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all applicable regulations. This role requires strong expertise in handling complex payroll systems and multi-state operations.

Responsibilities:
• Process end-to-end payroll for employees across multiple states, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
• Maintain and update payroll records, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Utilize ADP Workforce Now to manage payroll functions and troubleshoot any system-related issues.
• Handle payroll for a workforce of over 500 employees, addressing discrepancies and resolving inquiries promptly.
• Prepare and submit payroll-related reports, including tax filings and compliance documentation.
• Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure seamless integration of payroll data.
• Conduct regular audits to verify payroll accuracy and identify areas for improvement.
• Stay informed about changes in payroll laws and regulations to maintain compliance.
• Respond to employee questions and concerns related to payroll in a thorough and timely manner.• Proven experience in full-cycle payroll processing, including multi-state operations.
• Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll systems.
• Strong understanding of payroll regulations and tax compliance requirements.
• Experience managing payroll for large organizations with over 500 employees.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
• Strong communication skills to effectively address employee payroll inquiries.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
