Responsibilities
Patient Care Technician work alongside doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide direct patient care in a variety of healthcare environments. The Patient Care Technician (PCT) plays a vital role in the healthcare delivery setting often having more patient contact than any other team member including doctors and nurses.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
~ High School diploma or equivalent.
~1– 2 years patient care experience.
~ Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification by the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross (ARC).
~ Ability to make report as required by role
Preferred Job Requirements:
Hospital experience.
CNA certification or equivalent.
Experience with patient safety best practices.
Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
