Responsibilities: Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for network infrastructure, with a focus on Fortinet firewalls, switches, and security appliances. Monitor, diagnose, and resolve network-related incidents efficiently, escalating to senior team members as needed. Assist with the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of Fortinet and Cisco devices. Maintain accurate records of support cases, network configurations, and procedures in accordance with MSP policies. Liaise with clients to gather technical requirements, provide updates, and ensure a high standard of service delivery. Stay updated with the latest in network security trends and Fortinet technology, with opportunities for certification and career progression within the company. Required Skills/Qualifications: 1-2 years of experience in network engineering within an IT support or MSP environment. Level 1 or Level 2 support experience in network troubleshooting and incident response. Familiarity with Fortinet or Cisco networking products, including firewalls, routers, and switches. Basic understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and routing concepts. Proficient in diagnosing network issues and troubleshooting security devices. Fortinet NSE 1 or 2, Cisco CCNA, or equivalent certification preferred (or willing to obtain). Desired Skills/Qualifications: Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical clients. Problem-solving attitude, attention to detail, and ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment. Additional Fortinet NSE certification (NSE 3 or 4) or relevant Cisco certifications. Knowledge of network security best practices and an interest in advancing within the field of network security.
